The International Durrell Society laments the passing of Edmund Keeley (1928-2022), poet, translator, novelist, essayist, and long-time member and supporter of the Society. We all treasured his keen intellect and many contributions to Durrell studies and literary scholarship across a wide range of fields. To know him was to admire him and his lasting accomplishments.
