Focusing on the connections between Lawrence Durrell, Cavafy and de Berni\u00e8res, this event aims to transport us to a literary Alexandria through their writings…<\/p>\n

The evening will take place at the Alexandrie Restaurant in Kensington, where, for the inclusive ticket price, guests will be able to enjoy an evening of Egyptian-inspired cuisine, featuring a five-course tasting menu (with half a bottle of wine and a glass of dessert wine per person). Vegetarian and vegan options available.<\/p>\n

Guest speaker:<\/h4>\n

Louis de Berni\u00e8res<\/strong>: novelist and poet, author of nine novels, including Captain Corelli\u2019s Mandolin<\/em> and The Dust that Falls from Dreams<\/em>, and three collections of poetry, including Imagining Alexandria: Poems in Memory of Cavafy<\/em><\/p>\n
